Variculas or vascular spiders

Neodymium Yag laser is used since it has a longer wavelength. The laser energy impacts on the haemoglobin and, by diffusion, it breaks the endothelium, resulting in a clotting process of the blood vessel, which is subsequently eliminated by the body itself. When the varicose veins are very thin and shallow, the treatment can be combined with the Pulsed Dye Laser. Once these veins are eliminated, they do not reappear. The laser has a heating effect on the vein.

From 2 to 5 sessions are recommended, depending on the lesion.
